Whispering Way

The formal qualities of this photo are what really make it nice. Its got great flow, great colors, great composition and it really fits the concept of less is more.

For me what makes this piece pleasing to look at is how well it moves. The bottom of the piece leads your eyes right to the tree, and the wavy clouds in the sky move your eyes to the middle-right of the piece so there is no sense of things out of place in the picture, which makes the impact of the piece great.

I think I can look at this piece and say that this is something that you came out with too, you seem to have a lot of pieces that have great motion and strong shadows in the ground that help lead your eyes to certain points, so for being a picture of nature, you achieved some great originality in this picture because I think we can all agree that it's hard to find originality from an artist when you're photographing something that is typically for documentation purposes. Well done man, and keep up the good work!
